Hot pressing stage is the most important step in shaping: structure, flatness, thickness, adhesive strength,… of film-coated plywood products. The quality of the Hot Pressing process largely determines the quality of the product.
Under the effect of high temperature and high pressure the glue spreads evenly and solid quickly, bonding the peeling boards into a flat sheet structure called raw plywood boards.
Besides setting the temperature, pressure, pressing time, … according to the automatic working mode of the machine. The machine operator’s experience in feeding and un-feeding the plywood, release moisture, and cooling also contributes significantly to limiting serious faults such as blistering, layer separation, and face layer sloughing.
