Edge Sawing work is a simple stage that takes place right after the Sanding stage.
From the Assembly board stage to the Sawing stage, the raw board has a preliminary size of about 1280×2500 mm with uneven edges. After Edge Sawing work, the reinforcement board will be brought back to the standard size 1220×2440 mm.
NhatMinh CI uses 4-edges automatic sawing machine to do the job, the required size tolerance of final size are:
- Length: < ± 0.5mm;
- Width: < ± 0.5mm;
- Diagonal: < ± 0.5mm (for testing perpendicular angles according to the Pythagore theorem).
Sawing machines must be checked daily to avoid over permit tolerance, saw blades must be replaced after about 3000 – 5000 products depending on the thickness of the board.
